Exchange club members as a community service project prepare food baskets and distribute them to families in need in Marion & Polk counties. Each year the search is on, as Exchange makes a point to seek out the familes who need the support most. The Exchange Club has been participating in the Oktoberfest in Mt Angel Oregon almost since it’s inception. Selling hard ice cream cones, floats and sundaes to fund the service projects! New for this year we will be selling Rosti Brauts mit Kasi,  (Hotdog topped with potato & cheese!) Also Potato soup! And for the second year Apple Strudel, Marionberry Cobbler and Cinnamon Rolls! On the tenth anniversary of 911, the Exchange Clubs of Salem / Keizer and their community partners returned to Salem’s riverfront park to present the “Field of Flags”.  In honor of the 911 victims, and in the honor to our servicemen & women who gave their lives in the war on terror, a display of more than 5,000 Flags & Banners were posted in Salem’s riverfront park!
